My everyday cleansing routine for my face does not consist of all these products above, don’t worry haha. These are just all products that I genuinely love and use regularly. Bioderma is a musthave for removing makeup. I have really sensitive skin, and I am very aware of not using products that contain perfume. Bioderma is so gentle on the skin, but still removes every trace of makeup (even waterproof mascara!!!). I’ve been using it for years, and it’s a true staple in my cabinet. I only use it for removing makeup, and occasionally for cleaning my face if I’m on the go, since it’s very easy to use and doesn’t require water or anything. Seriously guys, there’s a reason it’s so hyped by everyone in the industry.
The Biotherm and Clarisonic cleansers I use together with my Clarisonic Mia2 brush for cleaning my face. Like the Bioderma these two products I feel are very gentle on the skin, which I love. The Clarisonic brush is amazing for cleaning the face, since it rinses up to 6 times more than your hands would, so your face feels so fresh and clean after using it. I use it every morning and evening.
After washing my face comes the derma roller, which I use three times a week. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a roller, which has hundreds of little needles on it that you roll over your face. It enhances the production of collagen in the skin and decreases acne and fine lines.
On the days where I don’t use my derma roller, I will follow up the cleansing with toner.
About two times a week, I will use the JorgObé black mask after a shower. I can’t quite figure out whether I think it works or not yet, but I haven’t used it for that long, so I will continue and see what I think after a couple of months.
Moisturizing is SO important to me. There’s simply nothing worse than a skin looking and feeling dry, especially in winter. Therefore I make sure to always lather on face cream both in the morning and in the evening. In the morning I will use the Biotherm Aquasource day cream for dry skin. As you might already have figured out from this post, I really love Biotherm haha. Most of their products are natural and without any harmful things in them, which I cherish sooo much.
I use the Plaisir eye cream both morning and evening.
On the days where I use my derma roller I will finish off with a rosehip seed oil, which works against all sorts of skin conditions and is generally all around good for your skin.
On the other days of the week I switch between the Biotherm Aquasource night cream for all skin types, and the Biotherm Aquasource Everplump. The Everplump one is more of a mask and really helpful on dry skin, which I tend to suffer from.
For my lips I have used the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream for as long as I can remember, and I don’t think it’s likely that I’m going to change that anytime soon haha. I love it so much.
Hair and lashes
I honestly don’t use very many products on my hair besides shampoo and conditioner. I’m not very good at styling it, but I’m working on it haha.
I only use two hair care products on a daily basis, and one of them is for my lashes. I use Moroccan Oil almost every single morning for my tips. I feel like it makes them shinier and more healthy-looking, which I really love.
For my lashes I use the RevitaLash every evening. It’s a conditioner for your lashes, and it’s supposed to make them stronger and longer. I’ve never really believed in stuff like that, but I’ve now used this for almost three months, and I can honestly see a difference. So that’s pretty amazing I think. It’s very expensive though, and I never would have thought of purchasing it for myself, but it was a gift and now I’m hooked on it. Might consider restocking it when I run out.
So there you have it; my essential everyday products and a peek inside my beauty cabinet. By this, I conclude this post, and wish you all an amazing kick-off of 2018. May it be the year, where all your goals and dreams come true! Lots of love, talk to you soon.
